... a full day and we were off to Pine Bluff where the Arkansas Railroad Museum is located. There are still a couple of buildings still standing where the St. Louis and Southwestern Railroad once had one of it's round houses and repair shops. Suzy and I walked into one of the buildings and found this older gentlemen, senior to us, sitting on a chair near the front door. Turns out, he was once the Superintendent of the railroad before ...

Our last stop was with Lauren and Eric, Luke and John William in Little Rock, Arkansas. The boys had a blast swimming and the girls had some great cuzzie time too. Eric even had a break from call and was able to eat dinner with us. We woke up the next morning and headed all the way into New Iberia. The family was waiting for us with a warm welcome. We all agreed 10 days and about 3000 miles across the country was surprisingly fun! And God blessed us with a safe trek ...

    ... so cool!

Our first stop was in Texarkana which is literally on the Texas/Arkansas border with half the town in each state. The Shell that we stopped at was on “State Line Ave”.

There was a drastic change in landscape once we were in Arkansas. On the interstate we were surrounded by 2 “walls” of trees. ...

... drove out from under the weather cloud line into sunny 90 degree weather. No rain in Little Rock. Every city we've visited we've had great weather. We are so grateful.

We are staying at a Residence Inn LR downtown river market area. Another great location a couple of blocks from the River Market and lots of restaurants on the river. Really neat area. We walked around a bit and then had dinner ...
