    ... pleasant and polite.
Today we started out the day a little bit earlier. We were on our bikes at 7am and riding down the Arkansas River Bike Trail which goes right past our RV park. The north side of the river trail is shaded and really a great place to ride. Lots of riders, joggers, and walkers on the trail getting some exercise in before the day heats up. We got in 16 miles of nice trail riding. We had decided to ...

Our last stop was with Lauren and Eric, Luke and John William in Little Rock, Arkansas. The boys had a blast swimming and the girls had some great cuzzie time too. Eric even had a break from call and was able to eat dinner with us. We woke up the next morning and headed all the way into New Iberia. The family was waiting for us with a warm welcome. We all agreed 10 days and about 3000 miles across the country was surprisingly fun! And God blessed us with a safe trek ...

Anyway, we drove for half of our journey today and we were STILL in frickin' Illinois! It felt like sprinting up a down escalator- we just weren't getting anywhere at all!

In the middle of Illinois, we came across many strange sights. That's also a lie. It's hella boring ...

    Friday July 24 - Day 11

Leaving Texas this morning was a bit bitter sweet for me but it is time to move on. I had it in my mind that I was going to see an armadillo in Texas but had no luck so far. Then suddenly, just as we were almost out of Texas I saw finally saw one. Ok, so it was dead on the side of the interstate but it was fully ...

... drove out from under the weather cloud line into sunny 90 degree weather. No rain in Little Rock. Every city we've visited we've had great weather. We are so grateful.

We are staying at a Residence Inn LR downtown river market area. Another great location a couple of blocks from the River Market and lots of restaurants on the river. Really neat area. We walked around a bit and then had dinner ...
