... brought back to reality and hear how some people really view each other. We all need to be conscious of his we treat each other and we all need to pray for each other and ourselves to realize our own faults and find a common ground to help out one another. Although the conversation was difficult to hear, I'm thankful for it because it just shows that everything can't be perfect all the time. The conversation also brought me down and made me vulnerable, and I really needed ...

... leave we could barely escape without food being shoved down our throats- I believe Vee is trying to fatten us up for something, what, I don't know. We went from there back to the house to change (with only taking one small wrong turn) and went to another sister house for dinner. ... in one bite. The burnt ends did not disappoint and were almost as tender as the prime beef rib. They didn’t taste burnt at all despite their name. They were basically like pulled pork in square form except better. There was literally no sauce needed for anything here but the regular BBQ sauce gave the meat a sweeter taste that sat easy on the palate and went down smoothly. The spicy sauce was the same except for a slight kick that began about halfway ...

Menu Item: Ribs & Brisket Plate with Spicy Slaw

Notes: Today was one of the first days after they changed their name from Oklahoma Joe's to Joe's Kansas City

Comments: Best ribs I've ever eaten. They had a unique taste unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The dry rub on them was perfect. The meat just fell off the bone and was extremely tender. The tender, medium cut brisket had an initial smoky bite to it ...
