I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). We went to breakfast with Zach (I got to ride shotgun in Roxy, and got to witness Southern friendliness firsthand), where we all over-ordered and basically died from our food consumption. Visited Whole Foods. Took a trip down the halls of PDS (far too nice), and then hung out at his house. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...
... leaving behind the caldera. We ended the day at our base camp for the best two nights, headwaters lodge and cabins at Flagg ranch. Believe it or not, this campground had its own full bar that served some interesting cocktails like Huckleberry Mojito and Wyoming Sangria. After a productive, but long tiring day, no one was complaining.
