The city known for its wild side, with cowboys just off the range, famous sheriffs, like Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson now has tricycle races on main street. Stewart Plumping is this years grand champion. You must ride an adult tricycle out 100 feet round a cone and make it back to the start for your hand off. The race is a 4 man team relay.

Next day it was off to the rodeo. The bulls, bucking horses and calfs out did the cowboys in every event. ...

There were a few houses and some businesses that were obviously fairly newly built. There were very few trees and the ones that we saw were twisted and had many if not most of their limbs torn away. Then we just cruised. I rode with Kim, Alicia, Alycia, Katie and Jacob. I had chit chat time with each of that, which I loved. We got ...

Today was a cake walk in comparison to the past many days on the bike. The 53 mile jaunt into Garden City started out early this morning. I was accompanied by Tyler, Lorraine and Lauren. We cruised through the numerous cow pastures, wheat fields, and foul smells and found ourselves at our host for the night-the YMCA before noon! I think this is our ...

... the 92miles of not-flat Kansas with MSJ and Taylor. Although it was a hot, challenging ride, the conversation with these two was perfect. We got in around 530p, greeted by a lake and our first camping night! The tents had been pitched and pizza was on its way. We made a fire, star gazed and ate s'mores. It was a good end to a rough day. Today was an 82-mile ride into Dodge City. We packed up ...
