Well the nerves are kicking in. Two full days to get everything in order. I have a pile of clothes ready but now comes the part of deciding what stays and what goes with. At least we will be in Paris first incase I NEED more clothing :) I am excited to see my "little ray of sunshine", Taylor. I left Chicago on the Fourth of July for one reason and one reason only: to see fireworks from a plane. I smushed my head against the window and almost spilled my overcooked noodles, but I was successful in seeing a couple tiny tiny tiny fireworks from my seat on the freezing plane.

... those who've never had the pleasure, sauage gravy is a kind of peppery white sauce made in the pan with the sausage brownings and scrapings. Rex had these weird little spongy yellow disc things about 10cm across which were allegedly mini omelets (hmmmm) He said they tasted fine.
