Montgomery Nature reserve has some of the tallest and oldest redwood trees in the state, the grove itself is quite mystical you reach it by driving for 14 miles on a beautidul scenic winding road with lots of switchbacks. You arrive at a modest entrance its very understated with no interpretation or visitor information what so ever? It makes me realise how good the Forestry Commission is at visitor/destination ...
