      DisneyWorld and Universal are theme parks recognised around the world. The question is are they a magic experience or a masterful marketing exercise in sucking in big dollars? MAGIC ADVENTURE The Disneyland parades were awesome (check the photos). The Disney Festival of Fantasy parade is at 3 pm each day with the Light Parade at 9 pm. This is followed by a light show projected onto the Magic Kingdom Castle and then the Wishes fireworks display - all amazing! ...

      ... day was really hot & humid, and while we were about to leave Hogwarts a storm rolled in & the heavens opened. The rain was amazing (I love a good storm) and was like a curtain. The staff were really great & organised rain ponchos if you wanted to purchase them which we did. We decided that being cramped in the same room as loads of other hot, damp, sweaty tourists was not a lot of fun, so stepped out into the storm and made our way out. Here you get into a little chamber with a glass door and a guy asks you if your ready, you give him the thumbs up and he presses a button that opens like a trap door below you where you fall vertically before sliding the rest of the way down the slide.       ... to universal and came back at 8 ish with mummy returns and minion rides the highlight. It was v hot and needed to regularly take refuge in air conditioned shops ( that was their excuse!). I stayed in bed and made occasional forays to loo at one point managing to hobble rather than crawl but then got worse again. Boo! Bed by 10 ish. I now worried about flying in 2 days.
