Worked out great. After we landed at 10:15, California time, we claimed our luggage and found the bus that took us to get our rental car, a Chevy cruise. We then found our hotel, ( Dana Mission Hotel) but too early to check in, so we took a ride along the coast and stopped for, quick bite at Burger ...

... waiting, but they left us alone, and we them. Our bus driver eventually showed up (the bus had been there all along), and beckoned us in as she finished stuffing a breakfast sandwich into her face. The bus took us through the city and slightly out of it, and headed through Balboa park, the city's largest green space.
