    ... food! I remember seeing it on the TV show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," so I trusted in Guy Fieri and headed to Cecilia's Cafe. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas that featured super red chili spiced chicken! I needed an extra tortilla to get through the spiciness, but it was delicious.     ... pictures. She was nice enough answering our questions and letting us take pictures as long as we didn’t come on the property. There apparently are a lot of people that come by to see the house. We aren’t positive, but we think she just stands outside her house all day talking to people as they come by to see it.     High on my bucket was (and I say was) Taos. Poor Tom drove about nine hours, some of them in a raging rain storm. Taos was a bust. We immediately headed for Santa Fe.
    The ride, however to Taos was nothing short of spectacular. The landscapes were like paintings. We traveled through sage brush fields and majestic mountains. We miss so much of this beautiful country when we travel by plane.

Was told that this a is a good viewing area during spring & fall migration. - Short hiking trail in the sand dumes. - Last 10 years, or so, a large number of dairy farms/feed lots moved to the area.
