... t notice the heat too much, but stop at a stop light or to take a butt break and it was bad. Unfortunately, almost every place we stopped for a butt break had no shade. Best Little BBQ in Town
Drove into Jefferson Tx. The place IS a booming touristy town! Jefferson has streets full of antiques stores, gift shops, restaurants, a wonderful locally made jam/jelly outlet and all kinds of nostaglic items.
We stopped at Joe;s Riverboat BBQ and had the best BBQ sandwiches. Mine was turkey and the Mr. was pork shoulder. Best meal we have had since leaving Michigan.
