... At about 6:30, were about 10 miles out and I decided in that moment I'm going to finish. And then I pound it out. I go about 22-16mph. I pass a group waiting to be packed up, and Sam Alcorn hops on. -7:15pm, just at sunset, we cruise into host. -Exhaustion. -Delicious dinner from host. -Shower at the local high school. -Walking back to host from the high school with Sam A, Carlee, Redding and Katie, we saw the brightest, weirdest sunset I've ever seen. ...

We checked out Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, it was really beautiful but they were in terrible drought so many of the migratory birds didn't come in this year. Great camping right on the salt lake and the best showers so far. The next day we went digging for the local treasure the Selenite Crystal, we found quite a few and they were really ...

Very straight roads for miles but you can't relax. There has ...

The skies were so ugly today, and cold. We rode to McDonalds in Alva to get breakfast and re-route from the scary road. While sitting there we met Harold and Iva Gates. They were so cute and helpful. They are those fortunate farmers that found oil on their farm. They are deserving of it. We found a route that was wonderful. We rode the back roads around the farms. Again, beautiful country. By 1:00 ...

Scott keeps singing "thine alabaster city gleams". We spent 12 cold hours last night at Alabaster Caverns. We awoke to our Alabaster Cavern tour with 20 4th graders and 20 doting adults. We were at the end of all the school group and were so far back that the timed lights would go off before we got to the next site. This was the guides second time giving a tour. She struggled. We heard very little of the tour, but enough ...
