Back in Oklahoma for a night while we waited for more storms to come along. We checked out Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, it was really beautiful but they were in terrible drought so many of the migratory birds didn't come in this year. 200 mile day off road through big country.

This is certainly becoming harder and more of a challenge.

We are on the north Oklahoma/Kansas border and we have been in to Kansas today (I hope the map is up to date at work guys).

Scott keeps singing "thine alabaster city gleams". We spent 12 cold hours last night at Alabaster Caverns. We awoke to our Alabaster Cavern tour with 20 4th graders and 20 doting adults.
