... I was feeling miserable, but then reminded myself that instead of being at home, cooped up in Adalia's bedroom, I was sailing on a cruise ship, staring at the ocean and a beautiful storm. I left Dallas to move to Germany today. I just graduated high school yesterday and it was very heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to my friends and family, but I am so excited to start this new journey in my life. After dinner, Carol had been nursing a cough and sore throat that was growing progressively worse, so we headed to an urgent care type facility. They do many things right in Texas. This remote ER was in a former Blockbuster store, and it had a Starbucks in the structure. They confirmed that Carol has a sore throat--not strep--but acute bronchitis.
