    Meeting our RV

A travel blog entry by hannihanni on Mar 20, 2015

... the RV explanation, the compulsory safety video, another paperworks... After all it was already 3:30 pm when we finally drove away with our "home" for about 2 weeks. For us, it's a HUGE motorhome. But it's absolutely not the biggest they have. We got the newest type of C-30 class, which is actually 31 feet long with slide out!! ... I just kept myself on Esther (2.5 year-old) duty the whole time.

While there weren't really any "wow" features of the museum, the kids kept busy the entire time we were there. Even Isaac (14) found exhibits to interact with for almost the entire time. The exhibits and activities contained a nice mix of mental and physical engagement that could draw the kids in like ...

Sand, waves and fresh water ?

    ... low in the trough.

The waves broke over where we were and just a little bit of my pants got wet but not to worry - this was fresh water and the pants dried nicely. It was hard to get my head around the notion that water and sand do not mean salt water. It would have been good to come at a time when I could have swum in the water and experienced that activity. Something for the bucket list, maybe.

Back home late afternoon after having a ...
