... access & exit ramps, no cloverleafs in sight!! We continue to see bayous & lots of swamp until we get to Houston suburbs - then it's mall after mall!! Also saw graffiti for first time in a long time! Once we pass Houston it's nice to see some farms & green fields! Also see lots more refineries.


We are now in San Antonio exploring all this neat town has to offer - will tell you all about it next time!

... The sausage was ok, but nothing to write home about. They offer a BBQ sauce at the table, but the meat did not need it. The story goes that until a few years ago, they refused to offer a sauce as they felt that it masked the true flavor of their meats, but they had so many customers asking if they had a sauce, that they decided to create one for those that must have a sauce on their meat.

We bought our pop-up with traveling to Mountain Bike Races in mind. I grew up camping with my parents (first in a Starcraft popup, then in a Shasta TT), so I'm not a newbie to camping, but am new to camping as an adult! So after not being able to negotiate to my liking with the dealer on a new Rockwood 1640 LTD, I found a used one on Craigslist and pulled the trigger.
