... had a late breakfast so we didn't have to contend with the tenders to go ashore. It was a beautiful day even though we were told that it was going to rain all day.We went ashore and walked the causeway from the tender point leading into the city to a museum which describes the history of Panama, very interesting. It was really hot walking with temps. in the high 20s with a humidity in the mid 90s. Round trip walking was 16kms but it was a nice walk along the mouth of the Panama Canal. ...
... goals etc, and little areas of grandstand seating, rather better than what we have in Kings Worthy. The last part of our journey, takes us on the interstate road down to San Diego, we find the hotel fine, but as it's 3pm we have to join a queue to check in....but...the room is not ready, so we go for a walk, then come back and join a second queue, even longer than before. Once in the room, a quick change then we are off to the pool, it's a nice area ...

About 12 of the "usual suspects" as Jamie calls them flew from Melbourne to be here to witness Ben and Jamie renew their commitment in front of family and friends, this coming Saturday.
It promises to be a fun weekend so will sign off now to resume after the event.

We jumped out and went down on the beach but soon enough the sand flies became overbearing. Considering we haven't really seen any flies at all up until this point it was so annoying to be covered in flies on such a pretty beach.
