Economy at its best no luxury here but you get what you pay for. Clean, cheap and cheerful .

Plattsburgh, New York - This was a town my Mom and Dad would take us thru on route to Old Orchard Beach Maine back in the 60's, where we would vacation for many years.

Another couple of hours on the road from Cornwall and we made our way into Plattsburgh, New York on the western shore of Lake Champlain. We found ourselves a doggie …

Many people were out riding on this beautiful sunny ...

Malletts Bay is a popular vacation spot with campgrounds and four big marinas. We chose Champlain Marina because Linda and Brian on Splashdown (met in Sorel) stayed here 21 days and really liked it. The cruise across the lake was beautiful even though it was hazy and breezy. ...

The wild centre is a little conservation and wildlife centre we found in a brochure about Tupoer Lake. Little did we know that this little gem would turn out to be one of the most fascinating places we have been. It had everything from a planetarium to indoor animal displays and a movie theatre. There was also a huge outdoor area with snow shoe trails and hikes, lakes and butterfly trails. What we thought was ...
