Working For OldFamily Friends

On the way back home, we wanted to make some extra money. So we stopped in Pine Ridge to work for our old family friends, the Hay's, after we filled up gas for $20.58. While we were there, we mowed their lawns for them and did other yard work along with walking there two dogs. We got to stay there for free and ate the food that they made for us.We stayed there for 2 days and on the 27th of September, we will continue to head home.

An awesome sight - we did the touristy thing and paid our 11 dollars to get up close and personal with them.
From there we go onto the Crazy Horse monument which is a rock carving in the making of ...

  • 11:00 a.m. Since I got here so late last night I decided to sleep in this morning. After I woke up I went to get ice and hade breakfast.
  • 12:00 p.m. Walked to go see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse in the daytime. It looked very different then at night. Almost four times as big. Crazy Horse is still under construction but, is still huge. The details are amazing in the face.
