Phil cooked our steak on the grill at the 11th Street Grill restaurant the first evening. We visited with Dave/Linda (our co-campers) and Tim/Julie(next to us).

We were riding with a mother and daughter from California who were nice, but the mother was riding behind me and she wouldn't stop talking the entire time, disturbing my peace. We had another nap, then showered and went to meet Jay, the ...

... and pool, and sitting on the porch in the sun in rocking chairs. We also jumped in the back of a hay wagon and drove out to the paddock to feed longhorn cows. At dinner we met a couple from San Antonio, Charlie and Kathi, who were in the area for the night to do some hiking in the nearby national park. They come up twice a month, hike 10 miles, then drive back the same day, but this time they decided to stay overnight and have a few drinks. We had dinner with them, shared ...
