... over the role of Historian for the chapter. I did actually find a candidate. Dinner Friday evening was Navy bean soup with cornbread. The meal was very good but not enough, at least for me. Each player gets 13 cards and the "caller", using a deck of cards, calls out each one. The first one to ...

Not sure how many will be participating.

Tomorrow starts with lunch out then whatever until dinner.

again, but I'm sure going to miss the kids and the cooler ...

In the evening, Ben and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel for our dinner. The main purpose was, of course, the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca~Cola Cake...

We both opted for the Country Farm Platter (or something like that anyway) whereby you chose your slice of meat: Hickory Smoked Ham for Ben, Sugar Glazed Ham for me. You then choose your side dishes: ...

Don't Complain About The Royal Mail. Seriously.

So, we've been failing to receive mail for a while now. Turns out that they seem to have issues with the line "Oak Park Trails Apartments" despite the fact that other stuff has arrived successfully before! Ben went to the local Post Office today to try and find our stuff. Two things are possible - they're here somewhere just possibly in the wrong box OR they've been sent back. The supervisor is going to do ...
