Charlie, aka "Sir Charles Feline", knows we are leaving and is in a snit. He refuses to look at us as he settles into his favorite chair. We try to appease him with extra treats and cherry tomatoes as we depart feeling a little guilty. Our ship awaits approximately three and a half hours from our home, and our 9:30 a.m. departure leaves us ample time to arrive by our scheduled 2:00 p.m. boarding.

After the excitement of the Lone Star Rally, we settled in to our first "destination" of the trip and just in time for the Big Freeze of 2014.
