Itinerary: Up early this morning to be at the airport by 8 a.m. We'll have a long layover at London Heathrow T5, then British Air all the way to Denver. Arrival time at DIA is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

... died down some until just as I was getting ready to retire. I had taken the awning down earlier and then put it back up. With the wind acting up again, I had to take it down again in the dark. I’m glad that I did.
It had gotten up to 98 degrees yesterday, so the awning was a godsend.


It stayed warm during the night, but cooled as a system came through. It was 43 when I got up ...

... Negative or overwhelming experiences were at a minimum, and she really enjoyed working on her Chinese. We got to see where she grew up and spend lots of time with family and friends. It was also a month away from work and a true family adventure.

There are some perqs to being a professor of Recreation, Tourism, and Hospitality - and one of them is you get to travel to beautiful destinations that lie along the equator and have copious amounts of tropical flora, fauna, good food, good drink, and incredible heat and humidity.
