... It was exciting! And ISla Mujeures is so small that we were able to rent gofl carts and drive from one end of the island to the other! We ate at a fantastic restaurant on the north side of the island where we hear is the best beach on the island!
I would reccommend taking a trip to the Yucatan penninsula with your adult freinds and/or lover OR with the family. It was a great time for a reasonable price. And no one got abducted!
... drive day for us, we pulled into St Vrain State Park. The anticipated cold front arrived here on Thursday and it got down right chilly on Friday night. The highs have been in the 20's and we got about 3 inches of snow. The good news is that it is much colder in South Dakota and Nebraska so we made the right choice to come to Colorado ...
Longmont, Colorado, United States thesairs... cocoon-like chairs that lay down flat..but alas, I couldn't talk my way to an upgrade on a frequent flyer mile free ticket. Plus then I wouldn't have met my seatmate, Surpat--he was a university professor coming home to Bangkok, so he left me with lots of tips and his card to call in case of trouble. Arriving in Bangkok at 6:30 am, customs, etc was very orderly--it wasn't until my cab drove into downtown Bangkok that the chaos ...

I am not sure what we will do in Denver, but once again, we will figure it out. Janis leaves tomorrow afternoon to SFO and returns back to Denver on the 17th. Hopefully when he gets back, we can make our way towards Mt. Rushmore.
We arrived in Loveland, Colorado just outside Denver ...
The Colorado Quilting Council is a state wide umbrella organization supported by the quilt guilds that operate across the state. This is the group responsible for the biennial quilt show that we saw in the Capitol in Denver. It has a membership of over 1000 and there were about 165 members present at their July meeting today. They meet monthly at various locations around the state and when I discovered that the July meeting ...

"I have friends who pick them up in garage sales and things like that. Sometimes people bring them here. The CDs are all new so they're more expensive." I bought five books and a CD and spent less than $30. Outside the front door I noticed a sign I hadn't seen when I walked in. It was a caricature drawing of him, his hat ...
Fort Collins, Colorado, United States hodizzle... commenced a year or so of traveling in the US and in Europe and maybe some other places, too. The plan is to work along the way in cool places and to take breaks in between. Since I will be working in cool places, I am going to consider both working and nonworking times as travel. The plan is to work for the summer in North Carolina, vacation, work for 6 months in the UK, vacation, and then work in North Carolina again. Then who knows.

... in my usual manner and make a mental note, and just run with my God-given human instincts: procrastination and disorganisation. Who needs a list when being unprepared is 50 times mroe exciting? I mean it's only my life on the line here. So i decided to run with disorgnisation; And honestly, I did very well. I got everything that I needed. WOOT!
Greeley, Colorado, United States snake0721... What do you want to accomplish?" I really hate those stupid questions. Yes, I know how to play along and provide an elegant and mature answer, but I know it's ****. Something to make you more comfortable, like a thought-blankie. Nobody ever really knows where they will end up or what they will really accomplish, so why not just let it happen? Cultivation, not choice.

... in a coffee shop in Boulder writing this.) On the road again, Day 16 While I probably could have stayed for weeks in the Bay area, I felt the need to get going, nor did I want to overstay my welcome. So I finally headed out to Tahoe. I camped in the Stanislaus National Forest outside of Tahoe. The road through the forest is one lane, heavily forested and very twisty. Very fun. Day 17 The next day I went through Tahoe (day 17 after leaving Seattle ...
