They say that the route to good health is; "to breakfast like a king, lunch like a lord and dine like a pauper." We have already reported a stupendous breakfast or two on this blog. There was the memorable 'Continental Plus' at Bob’s Rocking Horse Inn and the less noteworthy ‘Continental Minus’ at the Clarion Hotel in Iowa City. We made it to Maggie's hometown of Ainsworth around 5pm, and were welcomed by her brother Larry, sister-in-law Judy, and nephew Dave (affectionately known around town as Simp or Screech). Maggie's 40th high school reunion activities start ...

... don't fill divots in cow pastures!" Oops, my bad. Later, we had a great dinner with Rick and Dee back at the Lakeside Marina, gobbling up some broasted chicken and mashed potatoes. Then it was back to Smithfield where Rick and Mike showed Maggie and Dee how to play spades, winning 500 to 15. Yeehaw! Off to Maggie's hometown and her high school reunion activities in Ainsworth ...

Jenee' and I decided that our theme song for the trip would be "The Great Adventure" by Steven Curtis Chapman. The phrase “Saddle up your horses” as the opening lyrics helps to tie into our western theme for this trip.

We were able to get going from the Beatty House at 8 am and start ...
