... lot of traffic. We had lunch at the Pancake Hut in Carthage and ate the state dish, chicken fried steaks. We took a turning for Catoosa, but it turned out to be a red herring so we missed the Blue Whale landmark. We did find our hotel at Broken Arrow, just south of Tulsa without any trouble though. The Journey Begins......
... We would be traveling to New Jersey via Ohio for a stop off at Meemaw and PawPaw's house, as New Jersey is a long way from Tulsa by car!
After a long evening riding in the car, we stopped in O'Fallon, IL to spend the night. The dogs were not exactly thrilled about hanging out in a hotel room, we're not sure if Ricky even slept, as he kept pacing around. Needless to say, he is not big on change!
