... were claiming to already be there. No one was in sight and after five more minutes of confusion, we finally realized they had driven to Donna, Texas and were currently at the front entrance to Circo Hermanos Vazquez! Oops. They eventually made their way to us, but unfortunately missed most of the first half of our show.
The rain has finally started here. We're all parked on dirt. Dirt that gets REALLY sticky and thick when you add water to it. Sigh.
... visited 6 years ago. The downtown area was nearly vacant excepting
for junk shops and closed restaurants and bars. You could tell that, much like
Nuevo Progresso, no one comes down here at night anymore. We did stop at
C&C Wings on the way out and were really impressed with the taste of their
fried wings, and great fries and sauces.
We turn the clocks ahead an hour tonight.

This lot is so tiny! I have no idea how Alex and Tavo managed to fit us all on here, but they did. Despite some random concrete building material and a huge semi-trailer with a political ad on the lot, they wedged us all in here and only had to put the pony ride and portable toilets across a side street onto a different empty lot. We're parked right on the corner of two streets with our front bumper only a few inches away from a stop sign. It was supposed to get up to ...
... clothes washed and I enjoyed a chance to get to know Fridman a little bit better.
We dropped Fridman off at the lot afterwards and unplugged our RV so that we could drive across the road to an RV park to dump. Emilie came along with us because we were heading to Brownsville after that to do some grocery shopping and get money orders to pay off some bills.
