Took a shower, jumped off fellow travelers with a dead battery, and drove. Gas in Independence, MO. Saw a police chase that ended in a crash. Looked it up online later and saw pictures. Ate at Steak n Shake (terrible service made our stop an hour and a half) in Wentzville, MO. Got gas. Gas in Marston, MO. (See how we are never leaving Missouri?) After church with Al Green, Tim and I took a mini road trip to the Muscle Shoals area along the Tennessee River in Alabama. Along the way we passed a sign for "Coon Dog Cemetery", at which point we turned around. 10 miles down a windy country road, also a "Birding Trail" (I thought it was a bridling trail), we came upon the only Coon Hound Cemetery in the world. This is in the northwest corner of Alabama on the Tennessee River. It is the music recording mecca with many recording studios of lots of famous singers like: Little Richard, Aretha Franklin, Rolling Stones, Tom Jones, Jimmy Buffet, Bob Segar and so on.
