... glass, textiles, and other decorative arts. It is a collection that takes your breath away. No pictures however.

The gardens were interesting although nothing was blooming. There was evidence of lots of azaleas, camellias, and spring daffodils, but most are gone now. But it is a quiet place in the middle of the city. We could see tall buildings all around, but didn’t hear much street ...

Horses, chickens, 3 dogs and a cat. We met these lovely people in Fiji when we were at the namale resort in November 2012. We swapped details and they said if we were in Texas come for a week and they would show us a Texan time. And show up we did, we had a blast with these wonderful people! Randy is something out of a ...

... and hottest day of our trip. While the weather was hot outside, they had turned up the air con in the Space Centre! It was VERY chilly.

Nat, (Lisa's friend) suggested we visit Kemah on the Gulf of Mexico. It was just down the road from the Space Centre. It was a beautiful spot, with a massive timber boardwalk lined with restaurants, shops and an amusement park. It was very quiet today, but ...
