Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

We saw lots of migratory birds, eagles, hawks, Cara Cara, a raptor native to TX and a variety of cranes: sand hill and whooping grazing in fields along side cows.

Horses, chickens, 3 dogs and a cat. We met these lovely people in Fiji when we were at the namale resort in November 2012. We swapped details and they said if we were in Texas come for a week and they would show us a Texan time. And show up we did, we had a blast with these wonderful people! Randy is something out of a ...

These were basically just different areas in downtown that had shops and bars. After wards we headed back to the campground to spend our evening. We walked around the lake at the campground and then worked on our plan.
