... what some of those things are, stay tuned as the trip unfolds.

I knew this experience was going to be unique when we received a liability waiver for the week-long birding trip in Cambodia. Never before have I signed away my right to sue over leeches. Apparently, unlike the mosquitoes, they are harmless, but just disgusting. If you dare, ...

After London we take the Royal Princess for a cruise to Amsterdam - two days, Normandy (France), Vigo (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Azores Islands (Portugal), and six days cursing to Fort Lauderdale and then finally back to Gainesville.

... I could make it further, see pic. There were no CBs, but the clouds were down to 1200 to 1500 feet. After reaching 24J, I continued to Lake City, LCQ, and almost turned around, but the clouds lifted again. I finally saw Flying Tiger, and landed straight in on 18. Although it was drizzling, the visibility stayed good under the clouds.

It was a long day but felt good to be home. Overall, what a trip!

... the site of Marjorie's grave.

We had lunch, said our fond farewells and left Montgomery Presbyerian Center for points south. John humored me by going out of the way to Antioch Cemetery. We thought we were never going to find it---dirt roads, poorly marked---that place is a destination for sure! When we finally found the cemetery ...

        ... Marjorie,
        Got history of Micanopy,
Heard stories from the great J.T.,
Viewed Wild Florida at Paynes Prairie,
        But doggone it! St. Augustine
        Doesn't rhyme with any!"

That evening we had a special farewell dinner---fried shrimp, salmon, baked potato, cole slaw and hush puppies. Yum! And Great Wall of Chocolate Cake for dessert---excellent! After dinner, it was game night. Some folks opted ...
