... are not seperated from each other, which is bad, as it meant the selfie taking tourists were forever leaping out in front of us and randomly coming to a complete halt in the middle of the bike path. It was a bit foggy that day, but the views of the bay from the bridge were atill pretty good. After returning the bikes, we headed for In and Out Burger - which is a Californian version of ...

The train was nice enough - not luxury by any means, but good legroom, powerpoints, interesting-but-not-breathtaking rural California scenery and friendly staff. The only problem, really, is that it takes nearly 10 hours for the entire journey from LA to San Francisco. I was sitting next to a guy from Canada who was going to hike ...

In the Dubai airport, you get a free 1hour wifi so that's basically what we did for the first hour before moving on to Macdonalds for breakfast. The transit took about 3hours. I'm getting really excited because I feel like I will really enjoy my travel buddy's companion! Then we board our ultra huge plane for our 15.5hours ride to San Francisco! The view at the window seat was breath-taking. I have never expected window seat to be that great. The airplane also gets colder along ...
