      ... sound and I thought that was cool. Then we went back tot he hotel to wait for our friend to take us to the airport. She dropped us off at the airport and we went in and waited for about three hours and finally we boarded the plane. The flight was sooooooo long, it was 15 hours which felt like forever.       ... while in the US, was some wooden boat restoration courses, so I started chatting to one of the people working on the boats to find that they were a rowing club that only raced in these old rowing skiffs and that every Tuesday evening a group of volunteers came by to assist in the maintenance and up-keep of the boats.

      ... were stunning. You could see across the whole city landscape and it was awesome.

      Next we drove up and down some of the streets that branched off Market Street to see if we had missed much. Dolores Street was very picturesque with beautiful houses and palm trees lining the middle of the street. Valencia Street looked like it had some cool funky shops and cafes and Mission Street didn’t look great so I don’t think we missed that much.

      ... miners arrived in their thousands of ships, these actually got abandoned right where they were moored. They got used for housing for a while but in the end the city just developed over them and you can still see a mast from one of these ships sticking out of the ground today. Much more interesting then any of that financial stuff.
