Traveled all of 28 miles from St. Louis to St. Charles MO. It took Clark and the Corps 2 days to move their three boats the same distance against the Missouri River current. They would not have liked the river today because it was above flood stage by about 3 feet and the current was ripping.

Were about half way home now. The trip back is going a lot quicker thanks to our new friend the dragon. Her and Donkey are pretty cute together. This quest has been pretty crazy. Up at 8.30am and a short time later, we had the camp owner arrive on his quad bike wanting to know why we hadn't registered last night. (We kind of forgot/couldn't be bothered). He must have thought the Kiwis would do a runner without paying for the power and the water we DIDN'T use. Ripped off.
