A block away from main street is a great park off the Missouri River.
If you find yourself visiting the greater St. Louis area a side trip to downtown St. Charles should be added to your itinerary.

We made it! ok granted not a very long drive from Chicago/Naperville, about 5 hours. With all our stops I think it took us about 6 hours. The RV park we're at is pretty basic, carved out of a residential subdivision. Everything is paved, all sites are full hook up, no pool, no kids activities, etc. Perfect for our purposes as we won't be spending a lot of time here. Up at 8.30am and a short time later, we had the camp owner arrive on his quad bike wanting to know why we hadn't registered last night. (We kind of forgot/couldn't be bothered). He must have thought the Kiwis would do a runner without paying for the power and the water we DIDN'T use. Ripped off.
