It's an eventful month. I am IN the NYC Marathon for November 2014. I also plan to do Pittsburgh in May. With this acceptance Winter training hits a higher gear just as the temperatures bite into the sub zero windchill range.

We have been stuck in Iola, Kansas since Wednesday. Rain, cold, rain, cold, wind, wind, wind. Scott is one straw from losing it. It is too cold to go out. We are eating everything from our packs. What more can I say about Kansas.....this state has it all......So we drove to Olathe, KS and then I got out and started to ride, nice shoulders for the most part and one climb after another and of course my friendly head winds, which today I didn't mind so much because it was 93 and very humid so the breeze was nice......Jane drove up 8 miles and then rode back towards me and the first one she missed me and so I waited at the top of this climb, called no answer ...
