On the road again! Re-packed and now Mike's stroller is much more accessible. Looking to put in a LOT of miles today. I know it seems crazy to have no plan. We know we have to go west with these boys while Mike still can...and that's about all we know. Mountain needs to take his boys to the MOUNTAINS! Here are a few road shots to capture the journey. PS Don't delay your own family trips for anything. Certainly nothing as small as not having an itinerary or money. Go now. ...

Decided to bering Rosie all the way and not leave her at a kennel in Wisconsin. RELUCTANTLY, we dropped her off at one near the Arrowwod Resort. First report was positive, that her tail was wagging and she was happy..... Still not totally comfortable but will keep checking on her... May have to violate the resort rules ...

... we were riding along, and Rodney motioned off to one side. There was a little place called “Memoryville.” The owners had collected large memorabilia from all eras of the past – a restored caboose, a stagecoach, an early gas station, signs and billboards from the past, lots of interesting stuff (or junk, depending on how you look at it!). We liked it.

Every 6-10 miles we’d come to a little town. So ...

We drove all across Interstate 94 thru North Dakota ... flat and barren, to Fargo, and into another time zone! We made it to Minnesota to visit Mary Kaye Ludewig, a Siemens friend. So much to catch up on and compare retirement days! Mary Kaye, a Minneapolis resident, has a lovely lake house on Lake Louise ( two hours north of Mpls). So happy she invited us to stay and visit. ...

        ... in years!

On a negative note, need to mention the odor. Extremely smelly when cycling past certain fields and fertilizer storage bins. Add the baking sun, algae green stagnant pools, no wind. Gag.
Otherwise, a lovely day in the saddle!
