    The ferry runs on a schedule 24 hours. It's not really the most efficient way to get to Chippokes because the back roads are usually faster but it's fun for the kids. When we left our campground to go home north on the ferry, the line was so backed up that we figured it would be an hour and a half wait so we went home the regular way. However, ...

    Chippokes Plantation was indeed a fun place to stay! We were lucky in the campsite that we got, especially since we put up a new tent at night. Good thing we put it together right after we bought it!

    Not too far from the park was a pick your own farm. The boys had a great time picking strawberries. It was plentiful and very easy for the kids. We picked 4 quarts and paid $9.00 for it. You could also purchase 1 quart for $3.00. The only downside was that they only accepted cash or check. No credit ...
