Before we left Lexington, we stopped for a Geocache in a nearby park. There is a challenge cache at home for which I can qualify if I find, on one calendar day, two caches which are at least 500 miles apart. We will end the day in Hope, Arkansas, and there is a cache in a lamppost at the Walmart there which is about ¼ mile from the hotel and 671 miles from Lexington. Today we visited Lake Bistineau State Park in Shreveport. It was quite a sight. All the trees were under water. We bought granola bars and gatorades. It costed $15. We filled up the tank for $34.85. We stayed the night in a hotel costing $129.00. Next its off to Mississippi.

Notes from home is that you lost power so our furnace is still not fixed but supposed to be there tomorrow, be glad when that's done so we don't have to worry about it. Feel kind of powerless when so far from home.
