Ok so still feel bad this morning, in fact I threw up - can't even remember the last time that happened, perhaps it wasn't the cocktail after all. Peter had a lonely breakfast, as I felt so bad. Eventually got on the road and programmed in first stop Graceland. It was really weird when we got there, it's in a busy scruffy road lined with the usual fast food outlets. You pull into a huge car park (not necessary in January!) and walk to the ticket office, we got the cheapest tour, the ...

There is a challenge cache at home for which I can qualify if I find, on one calendar day, two caches which are at least 500 miles apart. We will end the day in Hope, Arkansas, and there is a cache in a lamppost at the Walmart there which is about mile from the hotel and 671 miles from Lexington. We were momentarily delayed by the fact that we couldn't ...

Today we visited Lake Bistineau State Park in Shreveport. It was quite a sight. All the trees were under water. We bought granola bars and gatorades. It costed $15. We filled up the tank for $34.85. We stayed the night in a hotel costing $129.00. Next its off to Mississippi.

... is we need to drive through Greater Dallas, so that should be an experience, wish us luck, from Tye we head to El Paso where we plan to spend a few days.

Notes from home is that you lost power so our furnace is still not fixed but supposed to be there tomorrow, be glad when that's done so we don't have to worry about it. Feel kind of powerless when so far from home.

That's all for now, night ...
