... our final leg of today's trip.

Before leaving Carr Valley Cheese Store, Mom and Dad did some research on hotels in Baraboo, Wisconsin. After Mom checked Trip Advisor, we settled on the Best Western Baraboo Inn and called to make reservations. She had already programmed this into the GPS so off we went. The rain had subsided a bit when we arrived so we didn't get too wet carrying our things in. Today was a good day and we were ready for a good night's rest.

Woke up early and started my day off with breakfast downstairs! I met a couple from California who live on a farm and grow oranges and pistachio nuts! We had a good chat and they invited me to come stay on their farm if I ever get to California again! They even gave me a bag of pistachio nuts for my travels from around their area - how nice! So today I decided to go visit Lincoln park zoo! Had my coffee at Red June and then walked down to the bus stop and caught the bus to the zoo. ...

... 8 levels of shops. Crazy! It was fun though. Along Michigan avenue there was also the Disney store that I looked in and that was fun too! Eventually I made my way down to another bus stop and caught a bus down to grant park and photographed Buckingham fountain! I walked back to the train station after that and then quickly came back to my B&B before heading out to dinner. The restaurant I wanted to go to was actually closed and I found this out the hard ...

    Getting Ready!

... Ruskin University in Cambridge and, along with another Valpo student and good friend, will be staying with a host family for my duration abroad. I did apply for and was granted with a Gilman International Scholarship which did make this trip possible for me so if anyone would like any information about it I've been through the process and will help in any way I can :)

I think that's about it for now. The next time I write a blog I'll be in England so here we go!
