Days Eight and Nine - Tampa 2015
We spent both days at the Tampa RV Super Show and it is indeed that. We got up early Wednesday morning because I wanted to make sure we got to the show in time for the 10:00 seminar on RV Maintenance. ... then we started hoping getting showered, dressed, and packed up to leave. Leave time is 9:30 and I think we'll make it. I took a couple of pictures of the campground sign and the main building. I want to try to start doing this to help me remember where we've been. I know after a while memories will become blurred and all merge together.

We both slept 11 hours. Checked out of the Hampton Inn Downtown and drove the campus of the University of Texas. A huge school at over 50,000 students. We made a stop at the Texas Tower and walked around it. This was the same spot where on August 1, 1966, Charles Whitman shot and killed several students and faculty. It is hard to believe that something so terrible happened in this serene location. You get a wonderful view of the Capitol building from the tower. Next we visited ...

While talking with other friends, Skip and Beth discovered that the adventure sounded exciting to another couple, -- Dave and Pat.
