... laughed. She said she was looking to leave the area herself because there just wasn't anything to do and Pine Bluff was becoming a ghost town. As we drove through the rest of the downtown area we could see that she was right. Houses and business along the drive were looking as though they had just been boarded up and left long ago. Our last stop was with Lauren and Eric, Luke and John William in Little Rock, Arkansas. The boys had a blast swimming and the girls had some great cuzzie time too. Eric even had a break from call and was able to eat dinner with us. We woke up the next morning and headed all the way into New Iberia. The family was waiting for us with a warm welcome. We all agreed 10 days and about 3000 miles across the country was surprisingly fun! And God blessed us with a safe trek ...

... We didn’t stop in any one location for too long today which got us to the campground by 3:30. It was suppose to be cooler here (which I guess it is at 36 degrees Celsius) but it feels a lot hotter with the humidity. Thank goodness the kids were able to hit the pool!
