We woke up in heaven. After three nights of tent camping you sleep pretty good i. A real bed, especially when its a good one. we had set our alarm though so we'd be sure to make it to breakfast. The hotel breakfast was good. They had all the standard stuff, plus made to order eggs and pancakes, and I was happy to see for a fruit option they had sliced pineapple. ... this oatmeal. At home I use honey & bowl sugar to sweeten my oatmeal, so I tried using about 4 of the sugar packets to sweeten it up, it just wasn't happening. So glad I planned this trip the way I did with short (4-5 hr. drives) most days. It makes it nice to be able to stop and see things along the way. Unfortunately poor Holden is fighting a cold but at least we are at the start. Hope he feels better soon.
