... cooking, this time for an interesting fusion of Japanese and English styles: a Japanese casserole. This involved Japanese sweet potatoes and beef, and demonstrated just how much Coco loved her time in the U.K - she`s certainly incorporated much into her way of life now!

    Points of interest:
    1. There are no fat people in Japan
    2. Japanese is 129% harder to write than to speak
    3. Japanese vending machines are the best in the world. And still there are no fat people.

Using information gleaned from our Japan by rail guidebook we made our way to Mishima station by bullet train in order to get as close as we could for a good view of Mount Fuji. This time we actually saw it from the train and also got a good view from the bus over to Motohakone. ... Also a box wit small tomatoes all lined up like a matrix. The supermarket even had a kitchen where fresh meals were made for very reasonable prices. I decided to get me a nice and healthy salad with crab and chicken and a lot of vegetables and went to the waterfront to sit and watch the fisherman while eating my breakfast. I met this nice old lady who asked me all about where i was from and what i've been doing here in Japan. She told ...

... over 40 degrees and that feel's pretty hot at first, but once you immerse yourself in the water it's a really nice relaxing experience. Onsens are also a place where people meet and socialize, kind of like a sauna here but they are much more rooted in Japanese culture. I checked into the hostel which is actually a very nice restored, 100 year old ryokan and right after unpacking my stuff i went to the room with the Onsen. I got undressed and washed myself while sitting ...
