I got up this morning at 7.10am, showered, dressed and then went to breakfast. Breakfast nothing special here, after eating i went back to the room. I uploaded pictures to Facebook, got ready for the day, surfed the net, packed bags and cleaned up. After all that i took my bags to the coach, got on, updated while waiting to leave.

The seven-story, Sioux Quartzite from the site opened in 1881. At the time of its construction, the mill was one of the most advanced in America. The mill could process 1,500 bushels a day. It closed in 1883 due to inadequate water power and a short supply of wheat.

... but maybe it's better that I didn't get my wish.

The monster driving day ended in Sioux Falls, shortly after we entered into South Dakota. With a population of 150,000 people it is not only the largest city in the state, but apparently it is the brightest beacon of civilization between Minneapolis and Denver. Not knowing any of this upon arrival, finding a fun town was a pleasant surprise.

... We seen a lot of the farming side of South Dekota. Beef, dairy, corn, sunflowers, canola. And other varieties of crops I am not sure of. We were going to stay at Bonesteel ..but it was only a small town ..not sure if it even had accommodation. We then stopped at James River ...Julie and I surveying the bushes ..while Rich and Alister went in another direction . Place was swarming with little flies ..did not stay long. Decided to continue riding till we reached Sioux Falls. ...

... dinner. It was called Safari Bar and as you would expect it had stuffed animals in here to....seems to be a theme here in South Dakota. The boys managed to pull of yet another coo and convinced yet another waitress to,plank.......sad but true we are 3 from 3 now lol Back to the Hotel which we discover a travelling band of classic aircraft aviators in that we had a couple,of beers with an ex Vietnam vet who ow owns a B 29 ...
