About the apartment...we took one look at it, and we fell in love with it. It's small, as can be expected in Europe, but with everything we need. I found this apartment on vrbo.com (Vacation Rental by Owner), saw pictures, and read reviews, so I was really happy that it completely met my expectations. I met Madame Daniella at the apartment while Dan and kids ordered dinner at ...

... to get here was seeing the alps through the clouds. They look good from 35,000 feet. And that's the day done. Not too much to report. Tomorrow is Venice Day, I'm sure there will be more to report after that. Right, I need to keep it brief as there's only wifi in the main reception and I'm not sure how good it's going to be.
