Dennis, Michel’s son-in-law who has started the improvements to the grange they have inherited, also wants the water to run again, so we suggested visiting the neighbour mob handed. ... waters. Very grand and palatial. Dinner again with the Aussies who will help me with my Australian book tour. Did I mention that I am planning a six week India tour next autumn.

After four days of glorious sunshine it started to rain so I just drove home. It is so easy to get there on the new autoroute I may go a few times next year. Tons of spectacular walks to be done. Perhaps I should find a cottage.

... because I misunderstood where I had to go. Mind you I got one within days and here they are given every 2 years rather than 4. A visit to the doctor takes all morning as there is no appointment system, in fact there is no receptionist and the doctor does it all on his own with the patients sorting themselves out as far as who is next.
