After a couple of days rain in Munich, our tans were fading fast, so we decided to top them up in sunny Spain and jetted off to Mallorca! A holiday from our holiday if you will...

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic's with a variety of scenery ranging from mountainous regions to rocky coastlines, flat fertile plains (that's where the rain's meant to fall dontcha know…) to turquoise waters. Thousands of Brits head there every summer to soak up the ...

We went to Mal Pas beach. It was small and a bit crowed. But the view was terrific. We stayed for an ...

Clive and Chris went out for a cycle today whilst the girls and William drove to Andratx for lunch, gelato and a quick look around.

Andratx is a sweet town with a small fishing harbour full of recreational boats and fishing trawlers. Whilst there for our late (Spanish-time) lunch, we also saw the trawlers returning with their day's catch. There is a small fresh fish market ...

... were very nice but it is a lot of walking and many steps to get down into the caves. There were many beautiful formations. I couldn’t help but think that this is where Gaudi got his inspiration for the Sangria Familia. I was so afraid the caves would be cold so I brought extra clothes but it was fine. After you go through the caves you come to a seating area. You sit and watch a 3 piece orchestra playing classical music from a gondola on the water, ...
