Made it to Fargo, Day 2

Made it to Fargo, ND today. It snowed this morning in Wisconsin and we met Emmy's friend for lunch in Minneapolis, MN.
We also stopped at an REI for a few minutes.

Roads in Minnesota this evening were icy in spots and it was very windy, but we went slow and made it here safely.

Sorry, there isn't much else to say since we haven't done any sight seeing yet. Planning on entering Canada tomorrow, so things should become more interesting.

... of place than driving CC on a state highway during a snow storm in Minnesota. I was getting tons of looks from the locals. As soon as I saw and crossed the Mississippi River for the first time that I got excited again and couldn't wait to make my destination. I was only three hours south of the headwaters but it was already looking like the Mighty Mississippi.

At three hours out I called the state park to make sure they ...

... all the family and friends who have been so hospitable on our various stops. Many of you showed the two of us so much of why you love living where you do. Hopefully in the future we can return the many favors and God bless each and every one of you!

Adios and thanks for all the comments so many of you have posted along the way in response to the blog and/or the pictures. It's been a lot of fun and I recommend it to one and all if traveling. Enjoy the pictures.
