On the road we made good with our mileage expectations, crossing through four (4) states - New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and finally into Arkansas. Based on the fact that our last leg of our trip was going to be 12 hours or so, we decided to go past Oklahoma City and decided to boogie on to Fort Smith, Arkansas which would cut about 3 hours off the final leg.
