We finally moved on and we haven't even hit half of the continental states yet! What a big country this is. We headed to Wisconsin, famous for cheese! Our first stop was Appleton – not famous for apples – for the international premier of the film The Age of Stupid. This film is about climate change looking from a future perspective. An interesting, thought provoking film.

... Paris was glad to see us and the garden was overflowing and not to badly destroyed by those Japanese beetles.
Note: I just want to say that I would highly recommend Rita and Lino's farmhouse and cooking lessons!! They were wonderful hosts! I think that you can find their website under Tartaruga Tours. They are also the ones who recommended our fantastic trip planner and guides, Jim, Tony and Jane.
... I sent my large suitcase back to syracuse along with my camera. Fedex isn't too bad. 80 pounds, two bags for 60bucks, we ate some wonderful home cooking, fresh corn from the farm, swiss chard, panerca bread and outback steakhouse just for laughs. Turned out they had pretty good steak, They had a bloomin onion and a dish and drink named after the Gold Coast. (represent!)

... historical" outlook of this airport as we stood there. Jeremy and I wandered around a bit, trying to use up a few more Euro. This airport seemed extremely unorganized. When it was time to board, we couldn't believe that there was really no line! Just a huge mob. Jeremy and I were sad we were stuck in the center seats until we found out that Becky and Jordan were sitting next to us! Actually all ...

After the rained stopped it was a very long but for the most part a pleasent ride. 577 miles today. I was pretty tired after the 400th mile.
It was gloomy all day through out the entire rid, but enjoyed it ...
... jumper of a plane. NOT good for me. I really hope this next flight goes better. 9 hours on a plane, not gonna lie, kinda scares me. Floyd has been having a lot of fun with me. We've been exploring the airport. Ok, well there's about another hour before we board.
Well I guess it's real, we're going on a trip. Never really seemed real until the last few days. We are in that "making lots of lists" stage of the planning. The reservations for our nights stay in Milwaukee are made and all the major stumbling blocks have been cleared. Now all we have to do is pack, and pack, and pack.
... in nothing more than a Scottish outfit that ironically is identical to a catholic school girl outfit. Now, before you roll your eyes, this place had amazing food, offered me a great spot to watch my Detroit Red Wings, and, unlike a famous chain that starts with Hoo and ends with Ters, the girls here were incredibly nice and were actually somewhat intelligent. We frequented this place on a number of occasions and were able to watch some sports and blow off some steam ...
