A Fun And Fulfilling Vist
... day! Thank Goodness! Lifting a 100 pound, uncooperative dog into our truck or our coach is not an easy task.
Friday we will move on to Baker City, OR. We spent a couple of days there last year. The city lies on the Oregon Trail, a major route of the immigrants who came from the east by conestoga wagon. Their trip took months. We will only spend the night this year. We will use what time we have touring this lovely little town.

Molly Is Almost Whole Again
... for her to enter the trailer. By 1030 hours she has come to the top of the ramp. She didn't come in. She did the same again a short time later. Hoping to enhance Molly's hunger with exercise Jil took Molly for a walk. Upon their return Jil scampered up the ramp and into the trailer. Guess who followed! Molly has been in and out of the trailer several times today. Her confidence is high. Tomorrow we will entice her into the truck using the same method.

But this time was different. I went into our home on wheels fully expecting to see a properly functioning television, but there was no picture. Driving Through The Heartland of America
... It's a real eye pleaser with elevated and covered boardwalks. I take Molly for a walk down to the local park while Jil goes into the coffee shop. We return but Jil is nowhere to be seen. Molly and I wait outside the coffee shop for another 10 minutes. Old folks have gathered inside for a meeting and their morning Joe.

300 miles of 'new' sites!
... we are quickly becoming enamored of. We are actually talking about coming back here at some point down the road and spending a month here....something we have NEVER contemplated before.
Of course, our possible return won't be for a couple of years. We are fairly commited to the idea of exploring the New England states along with the Canadian Maritimes during the next couple of springs/summers & falls!!!
