Today we have been here on the farm for exactly 3 weeks! It seems like only yesterday when we boarded the plane for Ireland and yet it feels like we have been here for months! We have been very busy weeding, lots and lots of weeding. They have no end of weeding here. There are a few animals we have to take care of and feed every morning and evening. The weekend before last we visited Waterford which is 40 minutes away. It was ...

One of our "fish guy" pals stopped what he was doing and came over to offer his hand as a sign of good will and a good bye. We had a great time working with all of the employees and hosts. The fish people are responsible for all maintenance at this beautiful hatchery. We hope that our efforts as volunteers have reduced their work load just bit.

Nice to have another late start. After breakfast we headed off with our swimming togs to a natural hot pool about an hours drive from McCall. It is in the middle of no where and not a tourist attraction so it was lovely to soak up the nice warm water. It was cold again today, about the same temperature as yesterday and more snow on the mountain tops, so it was hard to change into togs. Once in the water it was hard to get out but well worth the visit. On our way ...
