So today was a roller coaster - lots of ups and downs. It started out great. We left Chicago and in 2 and a half hours or so, we were in Madison, Wisconsin. I was shocked by how much I loved Madison. ... The tour boats were crazy. They definitely strove to provide an element of thrill for their passengers. They did a high-speed donut in the river in front of us. It made for some nice waves to make the kids feel like they were at the ocean for a spell.

Considering I was about halfway through a 12 hour drive, I wasn't wearing any makeup, and my seatbelt was hiding the salsa stain from earlier, I'd call that a win for me even though I denied them my digits.
