      ... as a mecca for fiber-based crafts and had to see it for myself. I am now considerably poorer, but very happy. I learned a new knitters acronym yesterday, STABLE (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy). I haven't quite reached that stage, but WEBS put me a couple of yards closer.

      ... hadn't met on that occasion, Poul might have stayed in the U.S. and become a U.S. citizen.
      After breakfast Sunday morning at the Sheraton we enjoyed a pleasant drive out of New York City and camped in Mystic, Connecticut. It's getting a little chilly in the tent but we are now on our way to another campground in Massachusetts and at least one more night in the tent - but we will have another big campfire tonight!

      We drove from Plymouth, Mass. through Rhode Island and into Connecticut today.
      The rains started about 5 miles before we reached the Rhode Island border and didn't quit until we were well into Connecticut. We stopped for the night at a State Park not knowing that dogs are not allowed in ANY state parks in Ct. Unbelievable.

      Billy picked me up this morning and we ran a few errands. When we returned, Lynnie took us on a walk around the park perimeter. I got a few shots on the way, including a good one of a pair of Peafowl. The camp is nearly deserted this early in the season, but a few folks stay for the entire season.
