We left Cheyenne and made our way to Laramie. On the way i enjoyed the beautiful landscapes such as the plains and mountains we passed. The plains were vast and wide full of wild life such as rabbits and coyotes. The mountains were tall and snow capped. We stayed at Laramie KOA RV camp.

early afternoon thinking we would find a campsite on the Caribou-Targhee
National Forest as we had seen these indicated on one of our maps. We also noticed a State Park indicated on
Henry Lake and thought these may be possibilities as they were near the road we
would need to take to get to red rock lakes national wildlife refuge. We thought we ...

... us to the middle of the downtown which had the Capitol building and not much else. We drove around a bit and couldn't seem to find the shopping area. I suspect the shopping has all moved out to malls on the outskirts and the town centre has been left a little derelict. We had lunch in the old railway which was a traditional grill that served sandwiches, burgers and pizzas. Another large lunch so it will be a ...

... br> On Sunday morning, after a hearty breakfast, we go to the stable and start our ride with Brent (our Wrangler), Outlaw ( John ), Two - Bars ( Ariana ) , Blacky ( Elena ) and Lucky ( Elisa ), our Quarter horses. They are not the type that line up but you really need to stir, which makes it more exciting. We cross a couple of streams and step on snow that has not melted yet. We see two Bald Eagles that live on ...
