So we made it to Des Moines, Iowa last night. Today we drove 620 miles today. We only stopped for gas and ate food that we had in the car. The only wild animal that we saw was right outside Laramie. It was an antelope. Looked like the kind you see at the zoo. We also saw smoke towards the south from the wildfires in Colorado. Gray thick smoke.
The nice part of being footloose and fancy free is you can change your schedule. We can't meet up with Bill's sister in Denver this weekend.
